This department was built in 2018 with an area of ​​365 square meters and has two acute care departments (1 and 2) with 30 active beds, this department has 27 inpatient beds and 15 outpatient beds.

102 experienced medical and nursing staff are working in the emergency department. All types of infectious, internal, poisoning, bite, surgical, orthopedic, trauma, women, cardiac, covid and laceration patients are accepted in this department. Accepting outpatients, referrals from other centers, emergency 115 patients, and other emergency cases with special attention to providing the best medical and care services is the top priority of the staff working in the emergency department of this center. The number of visitors to Razi hospital's emergency room has reached 29776 people in 2023.

 

 

Dialysis

department was established in 2008. This department has two halls. The number of active beds in this department is 9. 10 personnel are working in this department. In this department, hemodialysis of patients except HBS+ is performed. Other activities of this department include training on nutrition, fistula, catheter and continuous visits by nephrology and monthly tests of patients.

 

 

surgery

This department has 6 rooms and 23 active beds. 22 people in the surgery department

They are busy working. Patients with thyroidectomy, hernia, anal, appendectomy,Pilonidal sinus, cholecystectomy, intestinal obstruction treatment, gastroenteritis,Cancer surgery (pancreas, thyroid, digestive tract), colostomy, They are hospitalized in this department.

 

 

Department of IPD and Poisoning

Paying attention to the communication and health guidelines regarding the development of diagnostic and treatment services for international patients and considering the neighboring province of Khuzestan with Iraq, the policy of the hospital is to implement the regulations of the international patient unit in the hospital and attract foreign patients and earn more money. and with the implementation of international standards of hoteling and diagnosis and treatment in all stages of admission, hospitalization and discharge of patients, it has increased the satisfaction of international patients and domestic patients.

In this regard, Razi Hospital has set up an international patient admission unit, which has resulted in direct referral of foreign patients to the international unit, eliminating illegal and unlicensed intermediaries and accepting patients directly through the international unit. This center has implemented the relevant instructions and processes and based on the evaluation made by the Ministry of Health and Medicine, this center was recognized as having the conditions for accepting international patients and received an international license. This department has 12 active beds and 18 human resources. An IPD doctor, an IPD expert and a nurse fluent in Arabic and English are working in this department

Poisoning section

This department has been operating since July 2015. Patients who have been visited in the poisoning clinic or discharged from the poisoning ICU department are referred to this department and are discharged directly from the department if they wish. Patients with snake bites, scorpion stings, and poisoning with pills and agricultural poisons are admitted in this department.

 

Gynaecology and Obstetrics ward

The women's and maternity block of Razi Ahvaz Hospital was renovated and changed its use in 2013-2014. The area of ​​this section is 1243 square meters. The women's department includes the women's surgery department, roaming and health center. In total, it includes 10 rooms and 57 active beds. The women's surgery department has 4 rooms and an isolated room with 25 beds, the roaming department has 6 rooms with 35 beds and 34 baby beds, and the health center has 1 room. 44 people (unit manager, midwife and other personnel) are working in this unit.

 

 

 

birth block

It includes two sections: Maternity 1 and Maternity 2. Maternity Ward 1 has 3 LDR rooms and 1 observation room, which has 6 beds, 3 gynecology beds, 14 neonatal beds and 3 neonatal resuscitation beds. in the maternity department, there are, 2 LDR rooms, 1 isolated room and 1 monitored room with 3 beds.41 people including (unit manager, midwife, resuscitator and other personnel) are working in this department. In 2022, there were 2076 natural births and 1918 cesarean births, and in 2023 there were 2123 natural births and 2388 cesarean births.

Due to the hospital's exit from the corona situation and return to normal and the activation of the obstetrics and gynecology block, the number of births has increased.

 

Care before and after specialized surgeries for women, specialized prenatal care for mothers with gestational diabetes and GHTN and other pregnancy disorders and Hellp syndrome and high risk are among the activities of the women's department And care of the fourth stage of labor and after cesarean section, care of newborns until the discharge of cesarean section mothers and stable delivery are among the activities of the RI department.such as preeclampsia, eclampsia, Hellp, ROM, PROM, and P.T.L, post date, IUGR, etc. are admitted and transferred to the postpartum unit after stabilization.

 

        CCU

This department with an area of ​​199 square meters has 11 active beds. 17 people work in the CCU department. All types of patients such as: HTN, MI, Arrhythmia, CHF, HF, ACS, if necessary, patients from other departments who need special care are admitted to the CCU department.

The face of the CCU sector has undergone a positive evolution during the hoteling promotion policy and has become one of the exemplary sectors in this regard.

 

 

 

ICU1

This section was established in 2014 and the reconstruction and improvement of this section was done in 2015-2014. This department has 8 active beds and an isolated room. 23 people are working in ICU1 department. All surgical, infectious, gynecological, cardiac, orthopedic patients for surgery (high-risk cystectomy, cancer, types of FX, elderly patients, high-risk mothers, pulmonary edema and COPD) are admitted in this department.

 

ICU2

 

This department was established in 2018 and has 8 active beds. 26 people are working in ICU2 department. Patients with drug poisonings, poisons and bites, and all types of internal service patients after becoming ill, patients needing a bed, including diabetic patients, high-risk mothers, orthopedics, post-arrest, amputation, and DFU patients are hospitalized in this department

 

 

Infants

The neonatal ward has 10 active beds, 27 people are working in the neonatal ward. Babies who need basic treatment at birth are transferred to this department and after recovery are transferred to the mother.
